My friend Roger scored passed to the guest list to see Tin Star in the CD 101.1 Big Room.
The big room is anything but big, it's an intimate room where artist
play a close up and personal show for a small group of fans.
I brought with me 1 cd inserts to have signed by the band. I asked the lead signer for his "John Hancock" and noticed for his autograph he wrote "To John". I immediately confronted him and asked him why he wrote "John". He replied, "You said your name was John Hancock". Just then it hit me, since he is from London England he never studied American history and had no idea who he was or why I asked him for his John Hancock. I always get a chuckle when I remember that experience.
