Trek Bicycle
Trek 2006 Madone SSL 6.9
I don't think I ever received a nicer gift. A box showed up on my doorstep within weeks after I landed in Califorina and I opened it up to find a top of the line Trek Madone. I have continued to ride in California weekly and this had been my trusty companion. It's seen many upgrades over the years including new wheels, a compact crank, and even a power meter. Technology keeps improving and I finally upgraded this to a new bike in 2018 but still even last week made my rotation as I took it for a ride up the canyon.
